Spatial Front, Inc. (SFI) is seeking experienced Senior Project Managers to lead Agile delivery teams supporting a portfolio of mission-critical software development initiatives for a Federal Government customer. The Senior Project Manager will oversee the programmatic, financial, personnel, and reporting aspects of 1–3 Agile software development teams (approximately 6 team members per team). This role serves as the primary interface with government stakeholders while ensuring the successful delivery of complex IT initiatives in a federal environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between government clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and high-quality service delivery
- Lead and support complex Agile development efforts across functional, technical, and policy domains
- Define project scope, phases, deliverables, milestones, and evaluation criteria
- Develop and implement tools and processes to track project performance, workflows, and deliverables
- Monitor project assignments, timelines, and government deliverables to ensure accountability and adherence to schedules
- Coordinate logistics and technology for meetings, including stakeholder engagement sessions
- Respond promptly to team and client inquiries
- Oversee Help Desk operations (if applicable to assigned project)
- Prepare and deliver weekly status updates and monthly reports on project performance and progress
- Manage full project lifecycle activities, including budgeting, staffing, vendor coordination, and release planning
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing large-scale, complex IT projects
- Demonstrated experience managing Agile software development teams
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Public Trust clearance (fingerprinting required)
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting federal government contracts
- Experience managing projects with a Help Desk or support services component
Preferred Certifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- SAFe Certification or equivalent Scrum Master certification

- Clearance: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

- Salary Range: $115,000 – $150,000 annually
