They will conduct user research, analyze performance data, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to optimize conversion rates and maintain a premium visual language.

Senior Product Designer (Remote | $1,800–$2,500/month)

Our mission on the Marketing team is to build the experience that turns a stressed pre-med student into a Jack Westin student. We design and ship the pages, funnels, and content experiences that hundreds of thousands of people move through every year on their way to one of the highest-stakes exams of their lives. That scale brings unique challenges as well as real opportunity to shape how people find and trust us.

We are looking for a senior product designer to own design quality and cohesion across everything a student sees before they buy. That includes course and sale pages, the JW+ subscription experience, blog and editorial templates, instructor and advisor pages, and the booking and checkout flows at the end of every funnel. If you like starting from the customer rather than the brief, and you want your work judged on whether it moved a number, we would like to hear from you.

What You'll Do
  • Design end-to-end experiences across Jack Westin's marketing site, from first ad click through to a completed purchase or a booked advisory call.
  • Research the market and the customer before you design. Study our analytics, support tickets, student interviews, and the competitive landscape, and bring back a point of view that shapes what gets built.
  • Raise the visual bar to match our price point. Establish a premium, consistent visual language across a site that has drifted apart over time.
  • Design for an American audience. Our students are almost entirely US-based pre-meds, and the tone, imagery, and trust signals need to feel native to them.
  • Build and maintain a marketing design system, documented well enough that our developer and graphic designer can use it without asking you.
  • Partner with our copywriter on headlines, labels, microcopy, and form copy. Design and words get made together here, not in sequence.
  • Fix known conversion problems, including inconsistent CTAs across pages, an over-long booking form, and high-traffic pages that convert well below their potential.
  • Propose and review A/B tests with our performance marketer, then iterate based on what the data says rather than what the mockup promised.
  • Hand off work our WordPress developer can build accurately, with specs covering states, breakpoints, and edge cases.
  • Design blog and editorial templates that serve both our SEO strategy and the reading experience.

Who You Are
  • You have five or more years designing marketing sites, landing pages, or subscription and e-commerce funnels. We care more about the depth of the work than the year count.
  • Your portfolio looks premium. You can point to a project you would happily put in front of a client paying top of market and explain why it works.
  • You can show outcomes. At least one case study includes what the numbers looked like before and after.
  • You have excellent written and spoken English. You will be shaping customer-facing copy and communicating across a distributed team, largely in writing.
  • You have strong instincts for a US audience, whether or not you live there.
  • You are comfortable in GA4, heatmaps, or session recordings, enough to form your own hypothesis rather than waiting for someone to hand you one.
  • You use AI in your workflow already, and you can speak specifically about where it accelerates your work and where you stopped trusting the output.
  • You learn a new industry quickly and without hand holding. Within your first month we would expect you to understand how the MCAT works, who our students are, and what each competitor promises.
  • You work well on a small team. Marketing here is a copywriter, a WordPress developer, a graphic designer, and a performance marketer. You would be the senior design voice, not one of many.
  • Nice to have: experience designing for WordPress or page builder environments.
  • Nice to have: prototyping in code or with AI-assisted build tools.
  • Nice to have: background in education, test prep, or other high-consideration purchase categories.
  • Nice to have: editorial or publication design experience.
