Senior Procurement Specialist

What you’ll achieve

As the Senior Procurement Specialist, you will own local procurement activity across Spain, Portugal and Latam  combining hands-on execution with commercial ownership across the full source-to-pay cycle.

At the same time, you will be the regional interface with Group Procurement on strategic suppliers and large-scale operations by channeling local needs into Group-led negotiations, rolling out Group framework agreements, and ensuring consistency between local activity and Group category strategies.

Working with an extended highly skilled team, you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector

You will:

  • Supplier portal & vendor base: Manage the supplier portal end-to-end: onboarding new vendors, running qualification, due-diligence, and compliance checks, and supporting the central master data team to keep the local supplier base clean, accurate and audit-ready.
  • Administrative cycle (PR/PO): Own the purchase requisition and purchase order process from request to closure on Dynamics 365, ensuring accurate, policy-compliant, and timely processing, smooth approval flows and reliable interaction with finance and the business.
  • Local negotiation & supplier management: Lead negotiations with local suppliers across categories, securing the best commercial terms while protecting quality and service continuity; manage supplier performance, relationships, and risk over the full contract lifecycle, in close collaboration with the Central Procurement Team.
  • Business partnering : Act as the go-to procurement contact for regional stakeholders, translating their needs into sourcing actions and ensuring fast, dependable local execution.

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years in procurement, ideally with exposure to indirect / IT / software / professional services categories.
  • A proven track record of delivering value through negotiation and managing contracts in a multi-country environment, with particular strength in IT sourcing and a solid command of indirect cost categories.
  • Hands-on experience with procurement systems, supplier portals and PR/PO workflows (experience with Dynamics 365 is a plus), with a effective acumen for data quality, process compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Fluent Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus
  • Able to run local sourcing autonomously while thriving in a Group/matrix structure, coordinating across cultures, time zones and organizational levels.
  • Analytical and data-driven, with the autonomy and reliability to own a multi-country perimeter end-to-end.
  • University degree in Economics, Engineering, Business or a related field.
