Senior .NET Engineer with AI Experience - AI Services

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Our client is building AI-powered capabilities that reduce admin work for clinicians — starting with real-time transcription and automated documentation — so they can focus on patients. Our dedicated AI Services team delivers these capabilities as reliable, secure services integrated into our existing platform. We build and operate production software.

Tech environment: C# / .NET, React, Azure Services, AKS, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps (Plus growing use of Python for AI tooling and experimentation).

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

• Design, build, and own backend services in C#/.NET that integrate AI components (speech-to-text, LLM APIs) into our platform.

• Contribute across the full service lifecycle: architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

• Write clean, well-tested code and actively participate in code reviews, raising the bar for the team.

• Work closely with the Tech Lead and fellow engineers to break down features, estimate work, and keep delivery on track.

• Collaborate with Product and other teams to understand requirements and translate them into reliable, scalable solutions.

IF YOU ARE

• 5+ years of professional experience with C# and modern .NET (.NET Core / .NET 6+);

• Solid experience building backend systems: REST APIs, event-driven architectures, microservices;

• Cloud experience (Azure preferred): deploying and operating services in a cloud-native environment;

• Strong engineering fundamentals: clean design, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines;

• Experience integrating AI/ML services or external APIs (e.g., speech-to-text, NLP/LLM providers);

• Ability to work independently in a remote/distributed team with good async communication habits;

• Strong communication in English (B2+).

STRONG PLUS

• Experience with React and TypeScript web applications;

• AKS/Kubernetes, Azure Service Bus, Azure SQL, Azure AI Foundry;

• Experience in regulated domains (healthcare, finance) or with sensitive/personal data;

• Comfortable owning non-trivial technical decisions and defending them in team discussions.
