This is a high-impact, versatile role for someone who thrives at the intersection of relationship-building, project management, and flawless execution.

The Senior Manager will be a central connector across the organization: recruiting and retaining members within our bipartisan network of 600+ women executives leading public education, owning the full lifecycle of Executive Membership, enabling the end-to-end execution of the WLE Summit, supporting our cohort and coaching experiences, and providing high-quality support across organizational priorities.

We're looking for someone who is highly organized, results-driven, and energized by the opportunity to build experiences that strengthen the leadership, community, and impact of women at the helm of public education.

This role reports to the WLE Executive Director and is part of a collaborative, mission-aligned team committed to supporting women leaders across the country.

Core Areas of Responsibilities

Membership

  • Lead recruitment of new members into WLE's bipartisan network of state commissioners, district superintendents, charter leaders, and c-suite executives — proactively identifying, cultivating, and onboarding women leaders across the country.
  • Drive growth and retention of WLE's paid Executive Membership, owning the full lifecycle from prospecting and conversion through renewal, ensuring members see clear value, deep engagement, and an exceptional experience that earns their continued investment.
  • Steward day-to-day engagement across both general and Executive Membership, designing differentiated touchpoints that deepen belonging, connection, and value for each tier.
  • Track membership engagement, recruitment, and renewal metrics; maintain accurate member records; and analyze data to identify opportunities to strengthen the member experience and grow the network.

Summit Planning & Execution

  • Support end-to-end planning and execution of the WLE Summit, our network's signature in-person annual gathering.
  • Drive project management for the Summit, including building and maintaining timelines, tracking progress against key metrics for attendance, sponsorships, and revenue, and keeping all workstreams on schedule from kickoff through post-event wrap-up.
  • Manage all aspects of Summit logistics, including sponsor communication, external contracts, registration, attendee communications, and on-site operations.
  • Assist in the delivery of a seamless, high-touch experience for attendees, sponsors, speakers, and staff.
  • Lead on-site execution at the Summit and other in-person convenings, troubleshooting in real time and ensuring every detail is delivered with excellence.

Cohorts & Coaching

  • Support the planning and execution of WLE's cohort experiences, including the Emerging State Executives Network, the Sustained Education Executives Network, and future offerings, with the potential to own one or more cohorts or components of them.
  • Coordinate with external coaches, facilitators, and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
  • Manage executive coaching contracts and engagements end-to-end, including coach selection, contracting, scheduling, payment, and ongoing relationship management to ensure a high-quality coaching experience for cohort members.
  • Curate session content, agendas, and resources that align with the goals of each learning experience.

General Organizational Support

  • Provide flexible, high-quality support across WLE priorities as the organization continues to grow.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects, pilots, and emerging initiatives.
  • Bring a builder's mindset to organizational systems, processes, and tools that help WLE scale.
