Based in our Bangalore Office, PM Group have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Instrumentation Engineer who will work with PM Project office on multiple Projects in Europe/ USA.
Responsibilities
- To support Ireland Team for Instrumentation Design and Deliverables on various projects as part of a multidiscipline project team.
- Instrumentation engineering design services. This includes (but is not limited to) Instrument Index, I/O Lists / Allocation, Instrument Specification / Data Sheets, Layouts, Cable Containment, Block Diagrams, System Architecture,
- ATEX/ Hazardous area compliance (including IS calculations)
- Lead scope of work for Instrumentation design which includes Engineering deliverables and drawings (Layout, loop etc).
- Ownership of the Instrumentation design scope of work and deliver in time with quality.
- Instructing to Designers (CAD/Revit/3D) for Instrumentation schematic and Loop drawings
- Tender preparation and cost estimates
- Mentor Instrumentation engineering staff at junior and intermediate level.
- Ability to manage the Co-ordination of the Bangalore and Project office design team and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Degree in Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics/ Electronics and Communication from reputed University / College.
- 12+ years of formal experience with EPC/ Engineering Consultancy firm.
- Experience to lead a team of Engineers and Designers.
- Experience on US/ Europeans Projects is advantage.
- Proficient in the use of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) & digital project delivery
- Advanced knowledge of all applicable Instrumentation engineering codes, standards and acceptable industry practices
- Remote working with International offices/ Vendors/ Clients.
- Commercially aware and have ability to undertake value engineering activities and implement new technologies where they are implemented to provide costs effective solutions for our clients.
