Senior iOS Developer

Nexaminds is looking for a Senior iOS Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you'll design, build, and maintain high-quality native iOS applications using Swift. You'll collaborate closely with backend and web engineering teams to ensure seamless API integrations and a consistent user experience while contributing to architecture decisions, code quality, and application performance.

Location: Mexico (Remote)

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and native iOS development.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining production iOS applications.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs into mobile applications.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and cloud-based application environments.
• Experience collaborating with backend teams using Java and web teams using React.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, performance, and stability.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving application performance and stability issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Familiarity with Git, code reviews, and collaborative software development practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift.
• Build scalable and maintainable mobile features following iOS development best practices.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and collaborate with backend engineers to ensure reliable data flow between mobile applications and backend services.
• Work closely with React web and Java backend teams to ensure consistent functionality and user experiences across platforms.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, sprint planning, and technical decision-making.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application performance, stability, and production issues.
• Contribute to improving application quality, maintainability, and overall engineering standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to communicate progress, blockers, and technical tradeoffs.
• Support the App Store release process and contribute to continuous improvements in mobile development and deployment workflows.
• Contribute to CI/CD practices and automated testing where applicable.
