Overview

Join our team as a Senior Graphic Designer and support GSA's Center for Emerging Building Technologies (CEBT) by transforming technical evaluation data into clear, accessible visual communications. You will design Section 508-compliant infographics, data visualizations, and print and digital materials for technology reports, program briefings, and Office of Engineering initiatives, ensuring all deliverables meet GSA branding and accessibility standards while effectively conveying complex information to diverse audiences.

**Position is contingent upon contract award**

 

 

Work Schedule and Location:

Remote: This full-time remote position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm Central Time.

Responsibilities

  • Design infographics and data visualizations that make technical evaluation findings instantly understandable
  • Advise writers and analysts on the clearest way to present data — charts, tables, or visual displays
  • Create brochures, fact sheets, posters, and exhibit graphics for technology, historic preservation, and public art initiatives
  • Ensure every visual deliverable meets Section 508 and accessibility standards without sacrificing design quality
  • Support storytelling around GSA's architectural heritage and public art programs through interpretive and exhibit materials
  • Design at-a-glance technology assessments and dashboard visuals that help leadership quickly grasp program status

 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in creating data visualizations, technical infographics, and Section 508-compliant digital/print media
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, executive-ready visual materials
  • Strong design skills across both digital and print formats
