Senior Full Stack Developer (Python / React)

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications using Python, Django, React, and Next.js
• Build and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Develop scalable data transformation and ETL workflows using Databricks or similar platforms
• Write efficient SQL and manage PostgreSQL database schemas
• Develop unit tests and contribute to integration and end to end testing
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues across the full technology stack
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high standards for code quality
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement new features and business logic
• Participate in pair programming and collaborative development throughout the development lifecycle
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions
• Help guide and mentor junior developers

Some Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with Python and modern full stack development
• Strong experience building frontend applications with React
• Strong JavaScript or TypeScript experience
• Experience with Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Proficiency with SQL and PostgreSQL, including database schema design and query optimization
• Strong understanding of automated testing and experience with tools such as pytest, unittest, or Jest
• Strong debugging and problem solving skills
• Experience working with Git based version control
• Familiarity with CI/CD and automated build pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non technical team members
• Comfortable with pair programming and highly collaborative development environments
• Self directed and dependable while working in a fully remote environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience designing or integrating GraphQL APIs
• Experience with Databricks or similar data platforms
• Understanding of ETL processes and data transformation workflows
• Experience working with geospatial data, Geocoding APIs, H3, or PostGIS
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working within large monolithic legacy codebases and helping transition them toward microservices
• Experience with AI agents or AI code assistance tools in the development workflow
• Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, or similar software development ticketing systems

Other Information

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
