We are building a unified, high-touch operational platform for a premier luxury concierge We are building a unified, high-touch operational platform for an ultra-luxury concierge business, replacing a legacy tool sprawl with an enterprise-grade ecosystem. The system runs on a Modular Monolith architecture powered by a NestJS (TypeScript) backend on AWS, servicing three primary user interfaces: an intensive Back Office Admin Panel (ReactJS), a Member Web App (ReactJS), and Member Mobile Apps (React Native).

The platform integrates complex asynchronous communication pipelines (Email, SMS, WhatsApp), AI-assisted operations, spatial/vector databases, and strict security and role-based access controls

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with TypeScript end-to-end across backend and frontend environments.
• Backend Mastery: Strong production experience with NestJS (Modules, Guards, Interceptors, Pipes) and Node.js.
• Frontend Mastery: Deep experience with ReactJS (hooks, state management, modern UI patterns) and React Native (iOS & Android).
• PostgreSQL Expertise: Proven experience with relational database design, complex SQL queries, migrations, and ORMs (Prisma or TypeORM).
• Advanced AI Usage & Vector Search: Proven experience working with LLM APIs / Providers (AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude), vector search databases (pgvector, Pinecone, or Qdrant), and RAG architecture.
• AWS & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with managed AWS services (ECS Fargate, S3, Cognito, EventBridge, SQS, KMS, Secrets Manager).
• State & Data Fetching: Proficiency with asynchronous data fetching libraries (e.g., TanStack Query / React Query), REST APIs, and typed API client generation.
• Authentication & RBAC: Experience implementing multi-tenant auth workflows (OAuth2, JWTs, SSO federation) and strict permission matrices.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Feature Development: Design, build, and deploy full-stack capabilities across the NestJS API backend and modern React/React Native frontend surfaces.
• Backend Architecture & Domain Logic: Develop modular NestJS domain services, RESTful APIs, OpenAPI specs, and resilient third-party integrations (Twilio, Klaviyo, Google Places/Maps, Attio CRM, Shopify).
• Frontend Application Engineering: Build complex, high-density administrative interfaces in ReactJS (pnpm/Nx workspace, TanStack Query, typed contracts) and cross-platform mobile app components in React Native.
• Database & Search: Implement relational schemas and query optimizations in Aurora PostgreSQL (TypeORM/Prisma), including spatial proximity search (PostGIS) and vector embedding indexes (pgvector for AI retrieval).
• Security & RBAC Implementation: Enforce strict staff and member identity controls (AWS Cognito, Google Workspace SSO), resource/field-level authorization guards, and audit mechanisms for sensitive VIP data (passports, KMS-encrypted payment card boundaries).
• Asynchronous Processing: Support event-driven ingestion and notification workflows powered by EventBridge, SQS, Lambda, and Webhooks.
