Role Overview

We’re currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with Agentic AI Experience to support one of our clients in building and evolving sophisticated digital products. This role combines two key engineering disciplines: developing production-grade AI agents and delivering the full-stack applications those agents power, support, or operate within.

Our client is seeking an experienced software engineer who can move confidently between agent architecture and application development. You will design AI agents capable of interpreting goals, maintaining context, executing multi-step workflows, interacting with tools and APIs, validating results, and recovering safely from failures. At the same time, you will build the user interfaces, APIs, back-end services, integrations, and cloud components required to turn these capabilities into reliable digital products.

You will work closely with product, strategy, UX, data, and engineering teams to identify valuable agentic use cases, translate business needs into technical solutions, and establish reliable practices for designing, evaluating, securing, monitoring, and deploying agentic software.

Location: Fully remote position within Latin America.

Contract Duration: Fixed-term contract for 6 months.

Language Requirement: Advanced English.

What you’ll do

• Design and build production-grade AI agents that interpret goals, maintain state, plan and execute multi-step workflows, call tools, evaluate outcomes, retry when appropriate, escalate when necessary, and fail safely.
• Define agent architectures, including orchestration patterns, task decomposition, memory and context strategies, tool boundaries, human approval points, and recovery paths.
• Develop reusable agent tools, skills, and MCP-compatible integrations connecting agents with APIs, enterprise data, business systems, and delivery workflows.
• Build and maintain responsive full-stack applications, including front-end interfaces, APIs, back-end services, authentication, data flows, and cloud-hosted components.
• Integrate agentic capabilities into broader digital products, ensuring reliable coordination among agent actions, application state, user experiences, APIs, and existing systems.
• Define structured and typed input/output contracts for agents, tools, and skills using schemas, validation, constrained response formats, and consistent error handling.
• Build evaluation pipelines using representative datasets, regression suites, automated scoring, human review, and measurable quality thresholds.
• Implement permissions, guardrails, auditability, observability, structured logging, and graceful failure handling for secure and predictable production operation.
• Manage the prompt and instruction lifecycle for assigned agents and skills, including version-controlled templates, reproducible testing, change evaluation, and release management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify appropriate agent use cases and translate business objectives into complete technical solutions.
• Contribute to technical planning, architecture decisions, estimates, implementation strategies, and risk identification.
• Support testing, debugging, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing production operations.

What you’ll bring

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including ownership of complex full-stack web applications in agile environments.
• Hands-on experience building agentic software systems beyond using AI coding assistants or adding a conversational model to an application.
• Demonstrated experience developing multi-step agents that use tools or APIs, maintain context or state, validate results, and manage failures or human handoffs.
• Strong full-stack experience covering front-end development, APIs, back-end services, data integrations, authentication, testing, debugging, deployment, and production support.
• Experience with agent planning, task decomposition, tool selection, action execution, result validation, and iterative workflows.
• Knowledge of tool calling, function calling, structured outputs, deterministic routing, state management, memory, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Experience connecting agents to enterprise systems and data through APIs, MCP-compatible tools, retrieval patterns, and secure integrations.
• Familiarity with agent orchestration approaches or frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, state-machine agents, multi-agent coordination, or custom solutions.
• Strong prompt and instruction design skills, including structured context, examples, schema enforcement, output constraints, and reusable patterns.
• Ability to evaluate agent behavior across task success, tool selection, output quality, latency, cost, safety, and failure recovery.
• Strong knowledge of Git-based version control, pull request practices, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud application delivery.
• Experience with component-based front ends, RESTful APIs, server-side application logic, event-driven integrations, and cloud-hosted services.
• Ability to translate business requirements into agent designs, application architecture, technical plans, estimates, and implementation approaches.
• Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, and technical documentation skills.

What will make you stand out

• Experience establishing engineering standards at the team or organizational level, including coding conventions, pull request workflows, testing practices, API contracts, or agent evaluation standards.
• Experience implementing production controls such as permissions, guardrails, tracing, audit records, quality thresholds, and safe fallback behavior.
• Experience instrumenting agent executions with structured traces covering inputs, outputs, latency, token usage, tool calls, state transitions, and task success rates.
• Knowledge of prompt caching, semantic routing, output memoization, or similar strategies for improving performance, consistency, and scalability.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar platforms.
• Experience delivering client-facing digital products that integrate AI agents, workflow automation, or AI-enabled capabilities into broader web applications.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards, ideally WCAG 2.2.
