We're a hyper-growth and profitable company, quickly expanding our expert network, launching new offices, and new products. We are headquartered in San Francisco, with offices in Brooklyn and Bangalore. Our customers include the fastest-growing digital health companies, technology companies, institutional investment firms, consulting firms and AI Labs. We are backed by top marketplace investors and operators of companies like DoorDash, Airbnb, Affirm.
Human knowledge is the world's most valuable asset. And yet, despite being more interconnected than ever, most knowledge still remains stuck in our heads, inaccessible and underutilized. Our vision is to make human knowledge easily accessible and infinitely scalable by building tools for the new age knowledge economy.
We're hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to build the interfaces our customers and experts use every day. You'll spend most of your time on our core product, and you'll also help shape our marketing site.
You'll have real influence over how the product looks, feels, and behaves, and over the technical decisions that shape how we build on the front end.
We're looking for an engineer who cares about user experience as much as code. You have a real eye for polish and interaction detail, you sweat the small things that make an interface feel effortless, and you partner naturally with design and product to get there.
We build with AI coding tools, and we want someone who's leaning into them, using them to prototype, iterate, and ship faster without compromising on craft.
Build and ship customer-facing features in React, Next.js, and TypeScript, in close partnership with design and product, going into the API layer where it helps you ship
Own the quality of the front end, including performance, accessibility, and responsive behavior across devices
Extend and maintain our component patterns so the product stays consistent as it grows
Use AI coding tools to prototype and ship quickly, raising both velocity and quality
Contribute to our marketing site, building pages that are fast, polished, and hold up well in search
Help establish the standards, tooling, and practices for frontend as we grow the team
You have 5+ years building and shipping production web applications, with deep React and TypeScript experience
You're passionately product-minded, and you can channel a user's perspective into the decisions you make in the interface
You have an uncompromising eye for detail, and treat typography, spacing, motion, and micro-interactions as part of your craft
You're comfortable owning frontend quality, including performance, accessibility, and behavior across screen sizes
You embrace AI coding tools and use them to move faster without sacrificing craft
You communicate well with designers, product, and engineers, and can balance tradeoffs to get things shipped
