Senior frontend developer

Zensar Technologies Limited is looking for a seasoned Senior Frontend Developer to lead the creation of high‑performance, secure web applications using React and Angular. The role involves full‑stack ownership from design to production, leveraging AI‑assisted development tools, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative, user‑centric solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise‑grade web applications using React (hooks, Next.js) and Angular (v14+, RxJS) following architectural standards.
• Build reusable, documented components and contribute to shared design systems and component libraries.
• Translate UX designs into responsive, accessible, cross‑browser interfaces adhering to WCAG 2.1 AA.
• Integrate front‑end with REST APIs, GraphQL, and event‑driven services, handling authentication, state management, and caching.
• Implement AI‑powered features such as chat interfaces, copilots, and intelligent search using LLM/GenAI backends.
• Leverage AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) for scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, and debugging.
• Own CI/CD pipelines, containerized builds, and release processes on Azure/AWS, ensuring reliable deployments.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests, maintaining high test coverage.
• Optimize performance metrics including bundle size, lazy loading, and Core Web Vitals.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and participate in technical design discussions.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of professional experience building production web applications with React and Angular.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and modern UI frameworks (Tailwind, Material UI).
• Strong knowledge of state management (Redux Toolkit, NgRx, TanStack Query) and micro‑frontend patterns.
• Hands‑on experience integrating LLM platforms (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude) and building AI‑driven UI components.
• Proficiency with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) and responsible AI practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid testing background using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress or Playwright.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and performance optimization techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams.
• Proven mentorship abilities and a proactive attitude toward adopting new tools and frameworks.
