AI Summary
You will build and maintain high-performance, accessible websites and web applications while contributing to frontend, backend, and API design. Additionally, you will integrate internal systems with third-party services and support deployment, testing, and documentation processes.
What you will be doing
- Building and maintaining high-performance, accessible websites and web applications.
- Contributing to frontend, backend, API, and data model design and implementation.
- Developing CMS-driven websites, including content modelling, localisation, and editorial workflows.
- Implementing product features, backend functionality, and user interfaces.
- Integrating with internal systems, third-party services, and external APIs.
- Supporting SEO, performance, and accessibility best practices, including Core Web Vitals and WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Assisting with deployment, hosting, testing, QA, and documentation.
- Working independently, taking ownership of assigned tasks, and proactively solving problems.
We need you to have
- 5+ years of professional web development experience delivering production-ready websites and web applications.
- Strong experience with React; Next.js strongly preferred.
- Solid full-stack experience with TypeScript, REST/GraphQL APIs, authentication, state management, and database-backed applications.
- Experience with headless CMS platforms, e.g. Strapi/Contentful, including localisation, editorial workflows, preview setups, and customisation.
- Strong skills in HTML5, CSS, and modern styling approaches such as Tailwind CSS or CSS Modules.
- Proficiency with Git/GitHub and collaborative development workflows.
- Proven ability to optimise for performance, accessibility, and SEO.
- Experience with deployment workflows, CI/CD, and cloud/hosting environments.
- Familiarity with internationalisation/localisation approaches and regional content requirements.
- Strong communication skills, good judgment, and the ability to work independently and proactively.
- Comfort using AI-powered development tools is a plus.
