You will lead the technical delivery of AI agent deployments for healthcare organizations, managing the full lifecycle from presales to post-launch support. This role involves designing production systems, integrating with healthcare platforms, and collaborating with product teams to refine future implementations.
As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, you will lead technical delivery of AI agent deployments for healthcare and life sciences organizations. You will work directly with clients to build production systems and bring insights from deployments back to the product team.
Own client engagements from presales demonstrations and requirements gathering through architecture, implementation, integration, and post-launch support.
Design and build production AI agent systems that connect with healthcare platforms such as EHR and EMR systems, claims tools, specialty pharmacy systems, and CRMs.
Lead technical working sessions and present solutions to executive, technical, and nontechnical stakeholders.
Make architecture and implementation decisions, including selecting tools, scoping integrations, and resolving technical challenges.
Share lessons from client deployments with the product team and develop reusable components for future implementations.
Five to 15 years of software engineering experience, with a track record of designing, diagramming, building, and deploying end-to-end production systems.
Experience putting LLM systems or AI agents into production for real users, including evaluations, guardrails, and monitoring.
Fluency in JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Next.js, and React, with experience in cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP.
Healthcare or life sciences experience, including areas such as patient services, specialty pharmacy, clinical operations, health insurance, or HIPAA compliance.
Experience owning client-facing technical delivery from presales and scoping through integration, along with strong presentation and communication skills.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, WebSockets, ETL/ELT, Docker, CI/CD, LLM orchestration, or vector stores is relevant. Experience with data and machine learning pipelines is also useful.
Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder. Startup or high-growth company experience is valued.
Base salary is $170,000 to $205,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Remote within the United States, with New York as the primary location.
