At BISTEC, we build engineering teams for global clients. We are looking for an experienced Flutter developer to join a mobile programme for a UK transport technology client, rebuilding a suite of native iOS and Android apps in Flutter. You will work directly with the client’s engineering team and help shape the architecture the rest of the team builds on.

What You’ll Do
  • Build production Flutter apps for iOS and Android from existing native apps and new requirements.
  • Agree architecture, state management and module structure for a shared multi-app codebase.
  • Integrate REST APIs, authentication, local storage and offline sync.
  • Write unit, widget and integration tests and keep CI builds green.
  • Publish and maintain releases on the App Store and Google Play.
  • Work directly with the client team in UK-overlapping hours.

What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years in mobile development, with 3+ years of Flutter/Dart in production.
  • Apps you have shipped to both the App Store and Google Play.
  • Strong grasp of Flutter architecture patterns and state management.
  • Solid testing discipline and experience with mobile CI/CD.
  • Clear written and spoken English — this is a client-facing role.

Bonus Points
  • Native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) experience, especially migrating native apps to Flutter.
  • Platform channels, maps, location services, Bluetooth or offline-first apps.
  • Experience working with UK or European clients.
