The Role

​​The Senior Epic Applications Solutions Delivery Manager oversees and coordinates the strategic vision of operational leaders across customer organizations. They are responsible for helping to facilitate the roadmap and success criteria amongst key stakeholders, operators, and technical teams.  The Senior Epic Applications Solutions Delivery Manager is responsible for effectively communicating status, mitigating escalations, as well as overseeing and coordinating efforts to strengthen client partnerships by ensuring teams deliver on client priorities and proactively improving client systems and workflows, all with a strong service mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists with coordination and collaboration across application teams to execute customers’ strategic vision.

  • Proactively identifies opportunities and gaps within functionality based on understanding of operational challenges. 

  • Creates and updates product and functionality roadmaps

  • Assists with multi-year planning efforts

  • Works closely with vendors, customers, and internal teams and leverages tools to assist with assessing existing practices and identifying areas for optimization with a focus on best practices. 

  • Facilitates seamless communication and account teams, ensuring effective information exchange.

  • Assists with the timely delivery of project/program information to customer sponsors, stakeholders, and operational leaders, fostering transparency and collaboration. 

  • Communicates the progress of risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely actions are taken to address them.

  • Actively engages in the resolution of complex conflicts within a project/program, fostering a productive work environment.

  • Proactively looks for opportunities to help other team members in support of successful project delivery. Provides regular feedback to leaders and provides coaching to application analysts as needed.

  • Develop relevant customer-facing dashboards

  • Proactively identifies potential challenges and emerging issues within a project/program.

  • Leverages expertise to anticipate and mitigate problems before they escalate.

  • Collaborates with stakeholders, develops, and maintains strong relationships based on trust and respect.

  • Seeks opportunities to actively involve stakeholders in project activities or tasks, fostering a sense of ownership and collaboration.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 8+ years of experience in healthcare or Healthcare IT. 

  • Existing supervisory or management skills are preferred.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare application support, including electronic health records (EHR), practice management systems, and other clinical/business applications.

  • 5+ years working with Epic products. Proven ability to manage and mentor a team, resolve escalations, and maintain service-level commitments.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, incident management tools, and ticketing systems is a plus.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  •  Project management experience preferred

  • Travel as needed, not to exceed 15%
