Senior Developer - SMG Studio

Job Description:

At SMG, we turn to our patented DAFUZ system to create award winning titles including LEGO Party! Moving Out, Thumb Drift, and One More Line.  We love building fun first games and we don’t take ourselves too seriously.  

We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to work with us on new titles until the end of 2028. This is for someone who loves advanced engine code and diligently crafted gameplay architecture. You possess a mastery of C# and Unity and are comfortable in working in a collaborative idea space where constructive feedback is an important part of the creative process.

We offer remote working, but have offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide you could work from depending on you having full Australian working rights.

The headlines:

• Experience and understanding of systems, architecture and optimisation

• Experience working in a development team with peer-reviewed code

• Networking/Multiplayer experience is a strong bonus, e.g. low-latency high-action netcode

• Shipped games (as part of a company or solo)
