Senior Developer COBOL / REMOTE

At Kapres Technology, we are looking for a Senior Developer COBOL to join a multinational client that is a leader in the logistics sector.

• 10+ years COBOL development preferable Microfocus

• IMFirst experience (Ingram Micro developed code - heavily modified) a huge plus

• Pro*C & Oracle DB experience is a plus

• Linux/UNIX O/S experience is a plus

• Location: Global, is not a factor - but will need overlap with US Eastern and Manilla, PH for team meetings and reviews

• Needs to bring an open mind and an ability to dig into code for answers

• Needs to be self-starter and motivated

• Experience with JIRA and GitLab (or equivalent tools)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Start Date: ASAP
