Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure Platform)

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and support the development, automation, and operation of cloud-based platforms for a customer in the financial services sector.

In this role, you will design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with development teams to improve automation, platform reliability, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure: Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

Kubernetes: Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot Kubernetes environments.

CI/CD & GitOps: Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Workflows, and GitOps practices.

Infrastructure as Code: Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform.

Networking: Configure and troubleshoot NGINX, Traefik, and networking components.

Observability & Incident Management: Monitor platform health and investigate production issues.

DevOps Best Practices: Apply security, automation, and operational best practices.

Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to improve application delivery and platform reliability.

Mentoring: Support and mentor less experienced engineers.

Must have

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Workflows, and GitOps practices.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, including NGINX, Traefik, TCP/IP, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience with monitoring and observability.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of security best practices and platform quality.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to improve existing systems and drive DevOps best practices.
• Strong collaboration and customer-oriented mindset.
• Good English communication skills.
• Regular use of AI tools to improve productivity, automate repetitive work, support decision-making, and deliver higher-quality outcomes.
• Ability to use AI tools responsibly by structuring effective prompts, validating outputs, understanding limitations, and taking ownership of the final result.
