Senior Data Analyst

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Data Analyst  to join our team full-time in Bulgaria.

About the role:

As a Senior Data Analyst, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. You will collaborate with developers, architects, QA engineers, business analysts, product owners, and technical leads to define, document, and communicate requirements enabling the
implementation of new enhancements to data platforms. The role requires a critical thinker with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will help deliver high-quality data products, dashboards, and analytics services that
support business growth and digital transformation across key markets. You will work in an international and multicultural environment where continuous improvement, collaboration, ownership, and learning are highly valued. Security-first practices are part of everything we do.

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver semantic search functionality and data-driven services
• Define, document, and communicate business, user, and system requirements
• Support the full requirements lifecycle from planning and elicitation through testing, delivery, and business acceptance
• Evaluate solution options and provide data-driven recommendations to stakeholders
• Work closely with business analysts, product owners, developers, QA engineers, architects, and technical leads
• Analyze complex business problems and identify relevant data sources
• Design and deliver high-quality data products and dashboards to support business growth and digital transformation
• Create meaningful dashboards focused on answering key business questions and enabling self-service analytics
• Work with cloud databases, data pipelines, and database structures
• Collaborate with data engineers and contribute to discussions around data architecture and solutions
• Design, build, test, and deploy analytics applications
• Own and evolve the AI/Search architecture roadmap together with Domain and Group Architecture teams
• Ensure solutions balance customer impact, security, compliance, and cost
• Promote secure behaviors and security-first practices in all activities
• Contribute actively to the Analytics community and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non- technical stakeholders
• Experience with cloud databases, data pipelines, and strong SQL/NoSQL skills
• Experience creating data-driven dashboards and analytics solutions
• Senior-level Python expertise
• Experience with AWS Services
• Ability to design, build, test, and deploy analytics applications
• Strong automation mindset
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Customer-centric approach with passion for delivering high-quality data products and services
• Passion for continuous improvement, collaboration, and teamwork
• Open-minded, inquisitive, and eager to learn new skills and technologies
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with a high level of autonomy
• Experience working in agile and international multicultural teams
