- Ensure every application strictly adheres to Australian credit licensing compliance standards, lender credit guides, LVR boundaries, and privacy regulations.
Loan Lodgment & Quality Assurance
- Review, verify, and quality-check all AOL data entered by the VA before submission, maintaining zero-error standards across all major bank and non-bank lender portals.
- Take ownership of sourcing required lender forms, resolving submission issues, and managing rework efficiently to protect turnaround times.
CRM & Workflow Management
- Maintain accurate deal tracking, file notes, and workflow automation within Connective Mercury.
- Ensure the pipeline is clean, up to date, and moving, flagging risks or blockers to the broker promptly.
Team Leadership & VA Management
- Provide direct supervision, structured training, and day-to-day workflow guidance to the offshore VA.
- Build the VA’s capability over time, developing proactive problem-solving habits and increasing their independent output.
- Set clear expectations, review work quality consistently, and escalate issues where required.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Australian mortgage broking industry in credit assessment, loan processing, or senior broker support
- Minimum 1 year of direct people management experience, with a genuine willingness to mentor and develop team members
- Strong technical credit depth, non-standard income verification, credit score threshold analysis, LVR boundaries, and lender policy interpretation
- Advanced, hands-on proficiency across Connective Mercury, Quickli, AOL, bank serviceability calculators, and lender portals
- Exceptional written communication skills and extreme attention to detail
- Ability to execute quickly and accurately in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Alignment with an inclusive, open-minded workplace culture, the team serves a diverse client base and candidates must share these values
