Job Details: Level: Experienced, Job Location: Brillient HQ: Reston, VA - Reston, VA, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Brillient is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Specialist to provide federal acquisition and contract administration support across the full acquisition lifecycle. This senior-level role will support Contracting Officers, Contracting Officer's Representatives, and program stakeholders with complex procurement actions from acquisition planning through contract closeout. Location: 100% Remote. Candidates must reside in DC, Florida, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Texas, or Virginia. Candidates located in the National Capital Region are preferred. Salary Range: $120,000-$160,000 annually This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities Support acquisition activities from planning and solicitation development through evaluation, award, administration, modification, and closeout Prepare and process procurement actions, including simplified acquisitions, contracts, purchase orders, interagency agreements, IDIQs, BPAs, task orders, delivery orders, and call orders Support Firm-Fixed-Price, Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment, Labor Hour, Time-and-Materials, and cost-type contracts Apply applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements to assigned acquisition actions Develop and recommend acquisition strategies and procurement approaches Review and edit acquisition and contract documentation for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance Analyze pre-award and post-award acquisition data, identify gaps or issues, and provide findings and recommendations Prepare and enter contract actions into PRISM or other Government acquisition systems Review and validate acquisition data used for federal reporting Support contract administration activities, including performance and invoice tracking, modifications, and closeout Maintain accurate acquisition records, trackers, and supporting documentation Coordinate with Contracting Officers, CORs, program offices, contractors, and other acquisition stakeholders Qualifications: Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and minimum eight (8) years of relevant federal contracting or acquisition experience, or equivalent experience as permitted by contract requirements Senior-level federal acquisition experience equivalent to FAC-C Level III, DAWIA Level III, FAC-C Professional, former GS-1102 experience, or equivalent federal acquisition training and experience Demonstrated experience supporting the full federal acquisition lifecycle Strong working knowledge of the FAR and federal procurement processes Experience with Firm-Fixed-Price, Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment, Labor Hour, and Time-and-Materials contracts Ability to independently analyze complex acquisition issues and provide well-supported recommendations Strong written and verbal communication, editing, and proofreading skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online research tools Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Public Trust determination Preferred Qualifications Experience with cost-reimbursement or other cost-type contracts PRISM experience Previous acquisition support experience with the Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration, or another federal civilian agency Brillient is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
