A1 Consulting Group, Inc. (A1), a trusted and well-established small business in the Raleigh-Durham (RTP) market, North Carolina, is searching for talented professionals to join our leadership team. For over 34 years, A1 has been a leader in civil, geotechnical, environmental, and construction engineering services. We are now seeking senior engineers and a geologist for management-level positions to help propel our company to the next level. There will be equity option in the company after successfully completing one year in probation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualifications:
     
    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering (ABET-accredited programs).
  •  
    • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in North Carolina or eligible for reciprocity through the NC Licensing Board.
  •  
    • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in the U.S. on public sector projects, particularly in transportation and building sectors valued at $10M or more.
  •  
  • Technical Expertise:
     
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Suite, Cost Estimation tools, Geotechnical & Construction Engineering software, and other DOT-approved platforms.
  •  
  • Location:
     
    • The position is based in the vibrant Raleigh-Durham area. Part-time consultants can also work remotely from any of the 50 states in USA. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
