Senior Audit Associate
What you will be doing:
As the Audit Senior, you are a vital part of the Audit team executing the day-to-day activities of audit engagements with various clients, with particular focus on complex phases, including planning, wrap-up, and preparing financial statements.
- Lead planning meetings to include setting timelines, assigning roles, and overseeing various engagements
- Provide direction and training to staff in certain areas of the audit
- Review and prepare concise and accurate work papers, which properly communicate the unique issues of the area being tested
- Communicate the status of projects regularly and identify areas for audit efficiencies, utilizing available technology tools or new testing methods
- Perform all phases of an engagement including report preparation
- Participate in Business development – networking with clients and attracting new business
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related specialized professional course work
- Valid CPA license or actively working toward obtaining the license
- 2-4 years of experience of current or recent experience in a public accounting environment
- Enjoy in-charging engagements, training and developing staff
- Client-Focused
- Tech savvy – high level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel); experience with auditing software
- Dedicated to teamwork and integrity maintaining positive relationships with all levels of firm management, staff, and clients
- Display excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and independently prioritize multiple tasks.
- Possess professional demeanor and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Deadline driven with excellent time management skills, meeting assigned deadlines or budgets and providing advance notice of problems
- Be willing and available to travel to serve clients
- Passion for learning and are desirous of career growth

Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000
Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that LSL, LLP provides to compensate and recognize our professionals for their work. All exempt positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and all employees who are regularly scheduled to work 30 hours or more per week are offered a comprehensive benefits package.
