Senior Cloud & Platform Systems Engineer (Remote)

Tuknik Government Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Senior Cloud & Platform Systems Engineer with Secret security clearance eligibility to support TGS and our government customer. This is a remote opportunity.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud & Platform Systems Engineer to architect, secure, and operate mission-critical cloud infrastructure and containerized enterprise platforms. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for deploying and managing resilient Kubernetes workloads and infrastructure within Amazon Web Services (AWS), ensuring end-to-end operational readiness and high availability. The ideal engineer will enforce robust system hardening and governance by authoring and implementing Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and adhering strictly to Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance baselines across all environments. Additionally, the role entails automating the packaging and delivery of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications while designing and integrating comprehensive observability frameworks—linking platform telemetry with SIEM solutions to ensure robust real-time monitoring, security auditing, and rapid incident response.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Cloud & Orchestration (Kubernetes Engineer, AWS Cloud)
• Security & Governance (Group Policy & STIG compliance)
• COTS Application deployments and software delivery
• Observability & SIEM product integration

Clearance Requirement: 

Ability to maintain Secret Clearance. 

Location:

Remote.  Core work hours are 9am-5pm Eastern.
