Construct summaries and analyses for monitoring healthcare payments and evaluating medical review activities
Contribute to research questions related to federal healthcare policy and payments through data querying and analysis
Collaborate with a multi-skilled team of analysts and policy experts on project-based work
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in an analytical field, such as mathematics, statistics, economics, or epidemiology, or similar academic experience
2+ years in data analysis related to healthcare
Proficiency in Excel
Proficiency in programming for data analysis in a language such as Python, R, SAS, or STATA
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years in data analysis related to Medicare
Familiarity with Medicare claims data
Data analysis proficiency in Python
Querying proficiency in SQL
Experience with the Integrated Data Repository (IDR) claims database
Other Requirements:
Eligibility for federal background checks, including residence in the United States for at least 3 years out of the past 5 years
