Ciklum is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team full-time in Poland.

About the role:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you are part of a cross-functional team that delivers browser capabilities from conception to operation. You will collaborate with architects, data analysts, digital analysts, product owners, software developers, technology leads and UX/UI designers to clearly define, document and communicate requirements that will enable implementation of new changes and enhancements to our digital platforms in an agile manner.
Working alongside a varied set of technology and business stakeholders, you define and document new business, user, and system requirements, considering impacts to upstream/downstream services. You manage the requirement lifecycle from planning through to elicitation, testing, delivery, and business acceptance. You can provide business analysis to multiple agile delivery teams and work closely with the product owner and technology leads to prioritize and manage complex backlogs.
About the project: This initiative aims to modernize a nationwide government platform through comprehensive digital transformation. By leveraging advanced web portals, mobile applications, CRM systems, predictive analytics, and AI, we seek to enhance and streamline core services for government officials, the legal ecosystem, and citizens. Our primary focus is ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and adherence to rigorous performance and security standards.
Ciklum will lead and support multiple products and work streams within this collaborative effort. Responsibilities:
- Analyze capability gaps within the Customer’s organization and propose strategic improvement methods and tailored solution options
- Identify and define core business needs, ensuring a clear understanding of stakeholder impact and their strategic outlook on projects
- Collaborate proactively with Business Stakeholders, Project Managers, and teams to build a shared understanding of solutions
- Manage requirements communication by tailoring the approach to project specifics and stakeholder preferences
- Facilitate and moderate high-stakes meetings and workshops to drive consensus and decision-making
- Govern solution scope by proactively detecting, tracking, and resolving changes, conflicts, and requirements-related issues
- Prioritize requirements and manage their allocation while defining non-functional requirements, external interfaces, and constraints
- Mentor and develop other analysts upon request, fostering a culture of professional growth and excellence
- Organize knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to the corporate knowledge base to elevate collective expertise
- Partner with Product Managers on product strategy definition to ensure long-term value delivery
- Evaluate and optimize business analysis processes, providing actionable proposals for continuous improvement
- Establish and maintain robust requirements lifecycle processes from inception to delivery
- Oversee solution implementation and conduct rigorous internal and external acceptance testing
- Champion customer satisfaction through continuous improvement and proactive feedback loops
Requirements:

- Communication Excellence: Advanced English verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to express complex ideas simply and structured for large audiences and top-tier management
- Domain Experience: 3+ years of IT industry experience, including extensive collaboration with international clients and defining solutions from initial concept through to production
- Methodology Mastery: Deep understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and at least 1 year of experience as a flexible Agile practitioner focused on value delivery
- BA Process Leadership: Comprehensive experience in establishing Business Analysis processes from scratch, including elicitation, decomposition, modeling, and change management
- Requirements Lifecycle Management: Expert-level knowledge in setting up and managing the requirements lifecycle, including traceability, prioritization, and documentation structure
- Technical Modeling: Solid experience in UML and BPMN modeling, with the ability to adjust the approach based on specific project contexts
- Product Strategy: Advanced knowledge of solution roadmap definition and expertise in managing product scope and backlogs to prevent scope creep
- Tool Proficiency: Mastery of requirements management tools (specifically JIRA and Confluence) and various prototyping software
- Analytical & Digital Trends: Strong awareness of the latest IT industry trends, digitalization, and business process optimization approaches
- Mentorship & Accountability: Capable of assessing the work of less experienced colleagues and providing constructive feedback while following a "said and done" principle for personal deliverables
- Proactive Problem Solving: A self-driven learner eager to suggest alternative solutions and take ownership of the BA scope during Discovery or Pre-sales phases
- Technical Literacy (Desirable): Solid understanding of major architectural types and practical experience working with databases and writing queries
