Remote within Europe · $25–40/hour · 30+ hours/week · Long-term contract
Enjoy figuring out why something broke - and making sure it stays fixed?
At Pioneera, we build apps that help businesses work better in monday.com. Our customers use them to keep data in sync and automate their daily work. When something goes wrong, it can hold up their entire workflow.
We’re looking for an engineer who wants to own those problems: talk to the customer, follow the clues, find the cause, and ship a fix that works.
A customer says, “My updates aren’t syncing.” You ask a few questions in chat, check the logs, and trace the problem through the code. You find the cause, make the change, test it, and confirm the customer is back up and running.
Then you make the next incident easier to handle - by adding a useful test, improving the logs, or building a tool that finds the problem automatically.
Initially, expect roughly half your time on customer issues and fixes, and half on improvements and tooling. That balance will change with the issues coming in. Customer communication is a regular part of the job.
You don’t need monday.com experience. You do need curiosity, sound judgment, and examples of production problems you personally solved.
This is a remote, long-term contract for someone based in Europe, at $25–40/hour for 30+ hours per week.
We’ll agree on weekday working hours before starting. During those hours, you’ll need to be available for customer investigations, and urgent issues may interrupt planned work. Any additional on-call coverage would be agreed separately.
Apply with your CV or profile, expected rate, availability, and one short story about a production bug you fixed: what broke, how you found the cause, and how you knew the fix worked.
Our process is a conversation, a small paid debugging exercise, and, for finalists, a paid working trial. AI tools are welcome - just be ready to explain and verify your work.
