Senior Backend Engineer

After years of profitability, we raised $ 65 million to deepen the platform into areas such as vulnerability management and expand it with additional capabilities.

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our R&D team.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience developing scalable backend code in high level languages, with preference for Go.
• Fluency in SQL with hands-on experience optimizing and tuning ORM-generated SQL queries
• Experience writing migrations in raw SQL
• Experience working with cloud environments
• Experience owning feature development from end-to-end, taking it from idea to production
• Experience building testable code, writing CI scripts
• Experience working with containers and Kubernetes
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for learning cutting-edge technologies
• Ability to self-educate, working independently and mostly remotely
• High motivation and a team-oriented mentality
• Great async written English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end backend features
• Construct SQL queries using ORM, conducting manual optimizations as needed
• Monitor production logs
• Troubleshoot issues in production
• Plan and execute architectural changes 
• Fix bugs in backend code
• Conduct code reviews for other team members
• Cooperate with frontend team to ensure backend & UI cohesion
• Write CI tests for your code
