Position Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Back-end Engineer (L4) to contribute to the development and delivery of complex, integration-heavy platforms.  Our client is a US resort in the first phase of a large scale digital transformation initiative, beginning with Mobile Apps integrated with their in-house systems.  

The ideal candidate is comfortable working within a modern enterprise digital ecosystem supporting native iOS and Android mobile applications, API-driven architectures, middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, authentication and identity management solutions like AWS Cognito and OAuth, and cloud-based infrastructure within AWS environments. Experience working with content management systems and personalization platforms such as Contentful and Uniform is highly valuable given the project’s dynamic content and guest personalization requirements.  

What You’ll Do 

• Develop scalable back-end services : Optimize backend performance, scalability, and reliability, and implement security best practices including authentication and authorization
• Contribute to event-driven architectures and asynchronous system operations
• Collaborate with MuleSoft, Contentful/Uniform, and Mobile App teams  to deliver high-quality product features 
• Work closely with architects and product owners on system design and implementation 
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of excellence 
• Bring an AI-forward mindset to your daily work, using tools like Claude, Cursor, and other modern AI assistants to ship higher-quality work at pace
• Contribute to shared engineering practices that lift the quality of work across the team

What You’ll Bring

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, focused on back-end development (e.g., Node.js, Python) and API integration
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Lambdas, Node.js and  GraphQL
• Experience with event driven processing
• Demonstrable usage of AI-forward tools such as Claude Code or Codex in software development lifecycle  
• Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL dbs
• Experience working in agile teams and delivering production-ready software 
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Upper-Intermediate level of English (written and spoken)
