We are seeking a highly motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst (remote) to join our Accounting & Finance team. The ideal candidate will combine strong accounting expertise with financial analysis skills. This role is responsible for managing the month-end close process, preparing financial statements, performing account reconciliations, analysing financial performance, preparing management reports
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports and management reports.
Prepare KPI reports and perform financial data analysis.
Analyse financial results and investigate variances.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
Prepare cash flow reports and other management reports.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate financial information effectively.
Deliver clear financial presentations and reports to management.
Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
ACCA, CPA, or CMA qualification (completed or in progress) preferred.
3–5+ years of accounting experience.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
Experience managing the month-end close process and preparing financial statements.
Experience working in a multi-entity environment.
Knowledge of payroll, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting.
Experience preparing management reports and KPI dashboards.
Geographic location-Pakistan-timing 9am to 6pm est
