Capgemini Government Solutions is seeking a Senior Salesforce Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions supporting critical federal missions. This role is ideal for a seasoned architect who thrives at the intersection of technology strategy, enterprise architecture, and large-scale digital modernization.
As a trusted technical leader, you will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, delivery teams, and executive leadership to design secure, scalable, and innovative Salesforce-based solutions that drive mission outcomes across the federal government.
Job Responsibilities
As a Sr. Salesforce Architect, you will:
- Work on high-visibility federal transformation initiatives
- Influence enterprise architecture strategy and solution direction
- Collaborate with talented architects, engineers, and business leaders
- Contribute to innovation, thought leadership, and solution development
- Lead architecture and technical design for complex Salesforce implementations and modernization initiatives
- Define enterprise solution architectures across Salesforce platforms and integrated technologies
- Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices
- Design secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions that align with federal requirements
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical oversight throughout the software development lifecycle
- Develop integration strategies across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise systems
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate mission and business requirements into technical solutions
- Mentor development teams and emerging architects
- Support proposal efforts, solution development, innovation initiatives, and technology strategy discussions
- Ensure compliance with federal security, privacy, and governance requirements
Required Qualifications:

Eligible to acquire and maintain Government Security Clearance.

Associate degree or equivalent experience.

12+ years of experience designing and implementing Salesforce or comparable enterprise SaaS solutions

5+ years leading architecture and development of complex enterprise applications

Demonstrated expertise in: Enterprise architecture, System integrations, Platform security, Scalability and performance, Application lifecycle management, Platform governance
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect (required)
- Salesforce Certified System Architect (required)
- Must reside and work within the United States
- Ability to be remote outside of the Washington DC area, must be able to work during EST business hours
- Must be able to travel up to 10% travel may be required, including occasional meetings in the Washington, DC metro area
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting U.S. Federal Government agencies
- Experience leading large-scale Salesforce modernization programs
- Knowledge of federal security frameworks and compliance requirements
- Experience with DevSecOps, API-led integrations, and cloud-native architectures
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or pursuit of CTA certification
- Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, or Government Cloud implementations
- Preference for local hybrid ability in the Washington DC metro area
