Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Lead to build and scale GEMGEMs US sales operations. This role owns US revenue growth and leads a high-performance sales and concierge team delivering a white-glove experience to premium buyers.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining strategy, team building, and direct involvement in high-value deals.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Strategy

  • Own and execute the US sales and revenue plan with clear monthly and quarterly targets
  • Monitor performance, analyse gaps, and optimise conversion efficiency
  • Work closely with Marketing to align revenue targets with acquisition efficiency

Team Leadership

  • Build, hire, and manage a high-performing sales and VVIP concierge team
  • Lead onboarding, coaching, and performance management
  • Foster a results-driven, accountable sales culture

Premium Sales Execution

  • Deliver a structured white-glove sales experience for high-value buyers
  • Ensure fast follow-ups, consultative selling, and high-touch closing
  • Personally support and close complex, high-ticket deals when required

Process, Tools & Data

  • Create simple, repeatable sales processes, scripts, and playbooks
  • Track pipeline, forecasting, and performance using CRM tools (HubSpot/Salesforce)
  • Use data to improve conversion rates, sales cycle time, and customer satisfaction

Partnerships & Cross-Functional Work

  • Build partnerships with jewellers, influencers, and referral sources
  • Collaborate with Product and Operations to improve inventory conversion and buyer experience

Required Experience & Skills

  • 6–10+ years of experience in luxury, high-ticket, or premium B2C sales
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience hiring, leading, and scaling sales teams
  • Strong CRM and pipeline management discipline
  • Excellent English communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable working with high-net-worth customers
  • Calm, confident, and professional selling style

Nice to Have

  • Experience in luxury goods, jewellery, or marketplaces
  • Exposure to the US market
  • Understanding of conversion metrics and sales funnels
