Job Details: Job Location: Remote - Arlington, VA, Position Type: Part Time, Education Level: Bachelor's Degree, Salary Range: $29.00 - $29.00Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Job Category: Education, ICA Language Services is seeking an experienced Russian language instructor to provide virtual (online) instruction to adult learners. This position supports intensive, proficiency-based Russian language instruction focused on listening, speaking, and reading skills. U.S. citizenship is required for this position per program requirements.   Job Details Location: Remote/Online Assignment Length: 10/19/2026 - 11/20/2026 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–3:30 PM Eastern Time (includes a 30-minute lunch break) Number of students: 1 Compensated Hours: 150 teaching hours plus 25 preparation hours (175 hours total) Duties and Responsibilities Plan and conduct intermediate-to-advanced Russian-language instruction using a variety of teaching techniques and approaches to develop students’ listening, reading, and speaking skills Develop and/or adapt instructional materials to meet students’ proficiency levels, learning needs, and course objectives. Administer weekly quizzes and assessments, and conduct informal and formal evaluations to monitor student learning progress Maximize the use of instructional technology and online learning resources to support independent learning Adapt teaching techniques and approaches to students’ individual learning styles and professional needs Maintain professional conduct and appropriate discretion in all student interactions Utilize online teaching tools and learning management systems to support student engagement and independent learning Preferred Qualifications Two years of experience teaching Russian to adult students in a proficiency-oriented setting Bachelor’s degree in foreign language, linguistics, language teaching, or a related field ILR 4 or higher proficiency in the Russian language High proficiency in English sufficient for instruction and feedback Experience working with professional or US government clients Technical Requirements Reliable high-speed internet connection Computer with webcam, microphone, and up-to-date software Ability to effectively use virtual classroom tools and digital instructional resources Eligibility Applicants must be U.S. citizens Equal Opportunity Employer ICA Language Services is an equal opportunity employer.
