POSITION SUMMARY:

• Analyze revenue cycle metrics and data to identify opportunities to improve revenue, collections, and overall financial performance.
• Develop recurring and ad-hoc revenue cycle reports, analyze large datasets, and transform complex information into actionable financial insights.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify denial management, timely filing, payment reconciliation, and patient collection opportunities.
• Partner with Revenue Cycle leadership and cross-functional teams to address identified opportunities, reduce avoidable exceptions, and improve collections performance.
• Monitor industry trends, marketplace dynamics, and payer activity while presenting analytical findings and recommendations to leadership.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Business, Healthcare, Accounting, or a related field preferred with 2+ years of healthcare revenue cycle or analytical experience.
• Strong experience analyzing large datasets with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SQL and Tableau experience preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare claims data, reimbursement processes, payer contracts, denial management, and revenue cycle operations.
• Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, and business intelligence skills with the ability to extract, manipulate, and interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication, organization, time management, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to independently drive results and meet deadlines.

COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $65,000-70,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location, etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
