Responsibilities

  • Map segments of frontier AI and adjacent technology supply chains. Areas of focus could include specific country ecosystems and/or actors across segments such as capital allocation, raw materials, mineral processing, chip design, fabrication, advanced packaging, datasets, datacenters, frontier labs, and more.

  • Analyze how ownership stakes, trade relationships, and control are likely to evolve under different technological, commercial, and geopolitical scenarios.

  • Develop strategic proposals for stakeholders across government and industry.

Qualifications

  • Strong open-source research and analytical skills, with familiarity in one or more relevant domains: semiconductors, compute infrastructure, capital markets, critical minerals, trade policy, or AI governance.

  • Clear, concise writing for senior policymakers and/or business executive audiences, with sound strategic judgment and comfort working amid ambiguity and evolving scope.

  • Self-directed and reliable in a part-time, remote arrangement, with responsive communication and consistent delivery; experience in government, policy research, investment analysis, or supply chain intelligence is a plus.

Compensation

  • $50/hour for 8–16 hours per week, with scope for expanded hours and responsibility for strong contributors.
