We are looking for a Remote Telephonic Triage LPN to help support our Incident Intervention program.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 12:30pm - 9:00pm MST with rotating weekends and holidays required.
This position has a targeted start date of Friday, October 2, 2026.
The LPN utilizes evidence-based guidelines when following-up telephonically on injuries reported to WorkCare, ensuring employees are managing their injuries appropriately and progressing towards maximum functionality.
Provide telephonic follow up and case closures to employees that have reported injuries to WorkCare
Use evidence-based suggestions for either continued self-care treatment of the injury, escalating to a WorkCare Physician and a clinic visit, or closing the case
Call clinic providers and obtain status from employee’s appointments

Provide telephonic follow up and case closures in accordance with Policy and Procedures
If successful contacting the employee:
Determine what course of action to take
Continue self-care
Consult a WorkCare Physician to discuss the treatment options
If unsuccessful in contacting the employee,
Check the CSI and follow the instructions given for that client
Call clinic providers and obtain status from employees’ appointment
Provide additional services to WorkCare as directed by Physician, Department Manager or Supervisor.
QualificationsEducation and Experience
Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
At least 2 years' nursing experience.
Experience in occupational health, urgent care and emergency room preferred
Must hold current and valid LPN license.
LPNs must be able to obtain and maintain Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
LPN must adhere to the requirements and time frames of licensure in all other states per policy

Must also have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations.
Computer Skills
Must be competent in the Windows operating system environment, Adobe Professional, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and learn other software as needed.
Must be able to multi-task between multiple software programs.
Must have good typing skills with the ability to type and talk simultaneously.
Physical Demands
Requires sitting for long periods of time, working at a desk.
Some bending and stretching could be required.
Working under stress and use of computer/phone required.
Manual dexterity required for use of computer keyboard.
Occasionally may be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and/or crouch.
May occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
Work Environment
Employees must live in a location that can maintain reasonable connectivity to power and internet.
All Incident Intervention employees working from home are expected to adhere to the following requirements prior to working from home:
Must meet all IT requirements as outlined by IT Department.
Work environment must be free from background noise and distraction.
Must dedicate their full attention to their job duties during working hours.
Must be able to meet the following privacy and security requirements, as per HIPAA regulations:
home office must be in an enclosed private room with 4 walls.
home office must have a closed-door during business hours.
home office must be removed from normal foot traffic.
during working hours no unauthorized personnel are allowed in home office.
This position has an hourly pay range of $23 - $32 per hour. Final compensation for this position depends on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications.
