Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and driven Regional Sales Manager to play a key role in expanding our sales force and advancing our mission of providing exceptional diagnostic laboratory services. You will be an essential leader, working closely with your team to promote our innovative diagnostic services while ensuring a culture of care, compliance, and confidence. This role offers a unique opportunity to mentor and motivate a high-performing team, while directly contributing to the growth and success of our growing organization.

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Recruit, train, and retain a top-tier sales team focused on delivering outstanding results.
  • Lead and coach your team, providing support and development to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish action plans and strategic market initiatives.
  • Set clear performance metrics and accountability standards to drive sales towards measurable success.
  • Monitor and manage team performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Analyze data, market trends, and customer insights to inform sales strategy.
  • Mobilize resources effectively to solve problems and deliver on goals.
  • Support key account development, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide valuable input to marketing efforts and account optimization, ensuring alignment with sales objectives.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by taking on additional tasks to meet business needs as they arise.
 

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport at all levels.
  • Proven track record of successful sales strategy execution and results-driven performance.
  • Highly goal-oriented with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Previous experience in selling Diagnostic Testing/Services or Lab Services and Tests highly is preferred.
  • Previous experience leading a successful and growing sales team highly preferred.
  • Energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic, with unwavering integrity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex scientific and clinical information clearly.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, email, and internet functions.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned region and occasionally nationwide including up to 60% overnight.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-energy, time-sensitive environment, interacting with multiple decision-makers.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, while also contributing as an active team member.
  • Willing to dedicate extra hours to meet corporate and departmental objectives.
  • Frequent overnight travel required 
 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8+ years' experience in sales, particularly in the diagnostic laboratory services field.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a sales leadership position
 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to spend long periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Must have valid driver's license, reliable transportation with ability to spend extended periods of time driving in a variety of conditions.
  • Comfortable with working in a healthcare setting handling biological samples
