Job Summary

Direct management of Hospital Territory Managers (sales representatives).

Essential Functions

  • Maintain a positive attitude
  • Control discounts and expenses to contribute positively to ZOLL's profitability
  • Hire, educate, retain and promote talented sales people
  • Foster a team environment within your Region
  • Communicate, implement, and monitor the Hospital Strategic Plan
  • Develop Territory Managers through coaching and positive reinforcement
  • Spend an average of three days per week working in the field with your TM's
  • Set expectations for the Territory Managers and insect what you expect
  • Know, manage, and update your regional book of business to ensure quota achievement by all Territory Managers that report to you
  • Provide timely, accurate forecasts in Salesforce.com and all other required paperwork
  • Become a company expert and resource on both ZOLL and competitive products
  • Master both Customers Oriented and Strategic Selling skills
  • Responsible for field reinforcement of products and positioning strategy
  • Lead by example, motivate and inspire your team
  • Communicate openly and share information with others
  • Analyze and report on trends that you observe within your Region


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • University degree preferred
  • 5 - 10+ years of related sales experience or ZOLL experience required


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of ZOLL and competitive products
  • Strategic and customer-oriented selling skills
  • Professional and ethical behavior and character
  • Organizational/Territory Time Management skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic technical and clinical knowledge to speak competently about ZOLL products
  • Intermediate computer skill

  • Ability to lift 25 lbs

The "at plan" compensation (Base Salary + Variable Incentive Compensation) for this position is:

$300,000.00 which includes a base salary of $110,000.00 and commission in accordance with the company's sales compensation plan.
