This is a remote position.
We are looking for a Frontend Developer (React) to join our team and help design, build, and optimise modern, scalable web applications. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality user interfaces, ensuring performance, usability, and responsiveness through best practices in frontend engineering, testing, and continuous improvement.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, product owners, and designers, in a dynamic and international environment. The role combines frontend development, UI/UX collaboration, and modern engineering practices, with a strong focus on performance, maintainability, and user experience.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain modern web interfaces using React
• Implement reusable and scalable components with a strong focus on performance and usability
• Collaborate with backend teams (Java / REST APIs) to integrate services
• Actively participate in the technical design of new features in cloud-based applications
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices
• Continuously improve UI/UX in collaboration with Product Owners and Designers
• Contribute to frontend architecture in microservices and distributed systems contexts
• Support the evolution of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
Requirements:
• Solid experience in Frontend development with React
• Strong command of JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs
• Knowledge of frontend architecture (componentisation, state management, performance)
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum / Kanban)
• Familiarity with version control (Git)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitLab CI or similar)
• Basic knowledge of automated testing (unit and/or end-to-end testing)
• Experience in cloud or SaaS environments (a plus)
