Job Description

Digital Receivables (Duplicatas Escriturais) are electronic representations of payment obligations between businesses. They serve as the foundation of the receivables marketplace, transforming traditional paper-based trade instruments into secure, digital assets that can be tracked, traded, and used as collateral in real-time.
When a business performs a service or delivers goods on credit, it creates a receivable representing the buyer's obligation to pay. The digital receivable system captures this obligation in a standardized format, establishing a unique identifier, recording the amount, due date, debtor information, and payment terms. Once registered, the receivable becomes visible to the entire market, enabling financial institutions to verify its existence and status before extending credit.

What You'll Do

• Work closely with the Engineer and Product team to identify new automation opportunities and application faults
• Work closely with other QAs within business to encourage best practices.
• Be able to use and develop QA software tooling
• Be aware of new and developing changes in QA technology
• Establish design principles for automated software test procedures
• Maintain the test automation frameworks
• Write automation scripts and implementing it in software applications
• Help teams develop complex end-to-end automated testing solutions and performance tests with integration in CI/CD tools
• Create and document detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases to assess software quality
• Communicate test progress and results
• Identify quality issues and create test reports
• Review software bug reports and highlight problem areas
• Ideate, implement, maintain, and reinforce high-quality standards leveraging reusability and scalability
• Execute exploratory tests, usability tests, and manual tests when necessary
• We do not expect that any single candidate would fulfill all of these characteristics. For instance, we have exciting team members who are really focused on building scalable systems but didn’t work with payments technology or web applications before joining Visa
   

This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice. #LI-Remote

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Be based in Brazil
• Proficiency in English at B2 level (Intermediate)
• 3+ years of experience with working in the quality assurance area
• Experience with REST APIs
• Experience with multiple test types: e2e, contract, load and chaos testing
• Proficiency at least in one programming language (preferrable Javascript)
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
• Understanding of observability practices (monitoring, tracing, alerting).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Financial systems
• Experience working in high-scale and high-availability environments.
• Basic knowledge or experience with AWS services: SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3
