QA Automation (Taxes App)

As a QA Automation Engineer at Somnio Software, you will be the architect of robust and efficient testing frameworks, ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications. You will work hand in hand with a talented team, leveraging the latest automation tools and methodologies to bring innovative projects to life.

You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites, integrating them into our CI/CD pipelines, and driving continuous improvement in our software solutions. Our Perfect Match:

• Programming & Automation Frameworks: Proficient in at least one language (Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, Ruby) with hands-on experience in automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, RestAssured).

• Automation Design & Patterns: Solid understanding of design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model, Data-Driven Testing).

• Version Control & CI/CD: Proficient with Git and experienced in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

• Database & API Testing: Ability to write SQL/NoSQL queries for data validation (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and strong knowledge of API testing tools/techniques (Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI).

• Testing Methodologies: Deep understanding of various test types (functional, integration, regression, performance, security).

• Tools & Platforms: Experience with test management tools (Jira, TestRail). Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

• Reporting: Skilled in generating clear and concise test reports.
