QA Automation Engineer (Playwright, API & Integration Testing)- 1636

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
  
• Build scalable and reusable automation frameworks.
  
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, end to end, integration, and API testing.
  
• Automate web application testing using JavaScript or TypeScript.
  
• Validate integrations between applications, APIs, and third party systems.
  
• Create and execute API test cases and validate request and response data.
  
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Convert business requirements into automated test scenarios.
  
• Track defects and test execution using Jira or Azure DevOps.
  
• Work closely with development teams to improve product quality.
  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of QA automation experience.
  
• Strong hands on experience with Playwright or similar automation tools.
  
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript or TypeScript.
  
• Experience testing REST APIs and integration workflows.
  
• Experience with Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, or Playwright API testing.
  
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Good understanding of Agile, Scrum, SDLC, and STLC.
  
• Experience reviewing user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements.
