Sierra Select is seeking an experienced and strategic Public Relations (PR) Director to lead the company’s public relations, communications, media relations, and brand reputation initiatives. This role will develop and execute PR strategies that strengthen Sierra Select’s visibility, credibility, and relationships with customers, industry partners, media, and other key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and strategic thinker with proven experience managing PR campaigns, media relationships, corporate communications, and brand messaging.

Responsibilities

* Develop and execute comprehensive public relations and communications strategies aligned with company objectives.

* Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, industry publications, influencers, and other media contacts.

* Lead media outreach, press releases, announcements, interviews, and media opportunities.

* Develop compelling corporate, product, and brand messaging across communication channels.

* Identify opportunities to increase Sierra Select’s visibility within relevant industries and markets.

* Manage PR campaigns, product announcements, company news, and promotional initiatives.

* Coordinate with marketing, sales, product, leadership, and other teams to ensure consistent messaging.

* Monitor media coverage, industry trends, competitor activity, and public sentiment.

* Develop talking points, executive communications, media briefs, and press materials.

* Support leadership with communications strategies and media preparation.

* Manage external PR agencies, consultants, vendors, and other communications partners when applicable.

* Establish PR performance metrics and prepare reports on campaign results and media exposure.

* Develop strategies for handling sensitive communications and potential reputational issues.

* Maintain a consistent and professional brand voice across public communications.

* Identify emerging PR opportunities, industry events, partnerships, and thought-leadership opportunities.

Requirements

* 7+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, media relations, marketing communications, or a related field.

* Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or a related discipline preferred.

* Proven experience developing and managing successful PR and communications campaigns.

* Established relationships with media outlets, journalists, publications, or industry influencers.

* Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

* Strong understanding of media relations, brand reputation, and communications strategy.

* Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.

* Strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.

* Experience with PR, media-monitoring, CRM, content-management, or marketing platforms.

* Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.

* Experience in consumer technology, electronics, distribution, retail, or related industries is a plus.
