Psychiatrist (MD/DO) – Geriatric Behavioral Health Flexible | Remote-Friendly | Leadership Opportunities 

Strong preference for Psychiatrists based in Orange County or Los Angeles, though qualified candidates from other locations will be considered. 

Access Healthcare Associates (AHA), in partnership with Brigade Health, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to support the behavioral health needs of older adults in assisted living, memory care, and senior living communities. Since 2007, AHA has been a pioneer in mobile senior-focused healthcare throughout the Greater Los Angeles area, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care directly to seniors where they live. This unique consultative role focuses on collaboration, education, and improving behavioral health outcomes for senior populations without the burden of managing a traditional high-volume patient panel.

What You'll Do

• Provide psychiatric consultation and support to NP and PA providers managing complex behavioral health cases.
• Offer guidance on psychotropic medication management, dementia-related behaviors, depression, anxiety, and care escalation.
• Lead biweekly case reviews, interdisciplinary discussions, and educational sessions.
• Collaborate with assisted living communities, caregivers, primary care providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to program development, quality initiatives, and clinical leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted medical license.
• Experience working with geriatric populations, dementia care, assisted living, memory care, or senior behavioral health preferred.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and clinical leadership skills.
