Role Overview

The Medicaid Proposal Writer is an individual contributor who reports to the Manager, Proposal Writing and supports the execution of the enterprise writing strategy set by the Director, Proposal Writing. This role drafts and refines assigned narrative sections for state Medicaid managed care and other Medicaid government‑sponsored health program bids.

The writer translates technical and operational information from subject matter experts into clear, compliant, and evaluable prose that reflects our win themes, differentiators, and commitments. This is not a technical writing role; the focus is on structured proposal responses within a Medicaid managed care context.

The Proposal Writer collaborates closely with matrixed business partners to produce accurate, consistent, and compelling responses. The writer also uses AI‑enabled writing and editing tools in a controlled, compliant way to increase speed and quality, while maintaining accountability for accuracy, Medicaid alignment, and voice.
