Project & Operations Intern| Kerten Hospitality

Reporting to: Senior Director of Projects and Operations

Location: Italy, Colere

JOB DESCRIPTION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and support business development activities to identify, evaluate, and pursue new management, franchising, and partnership opportunities.

  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of proposals, pitches, and presentations, and support the negotiation and finalization of management and franchising agreements.

  • Identify and target high-end, high-value clients through market research, customer data analysis, and industry networking.

  • Conduct financial feasibility studies and market assessments to support strategic planning and expansion decisions.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regional opportunities to inform business development strategies.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel owners, investors, developers, consultants, governmental entities, and key industry stakeholders.

  • Collaborate internally to develop tailored business cases, project-specific proposals, and bespoke presentations or speeches.

  • Leverage Kerten Hospitality’s databases, B2B platforms, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to generate leads and drive growth.

  • Support the development and execution of strategic partnerships, alliances, and expansion initiatives across assigned markets.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Project Management, Operations, or a related field.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

  • High attention to detail and comfort working with checklists, trackers, and structured documentation.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); confident creating reports, trackers, and presentations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate professionally with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

  • Basic understanding in hospitality operations, pre-opening activities, and project delivery.

  • Flexibility to support site-based activities and travel when needed.
