About the Role

We are looking for a Product Manager who excels at orchestrating execution across a global stage. Unlike a traditional PM role where you might sit next to your developers, you will be the primary bridge between Progress Partners’ vision and our external development teams located all over the world.

You will be responsible for driving the success of key product areas within our ecosystem. Your mission is to be 'on top of the machine'—providing high-level direction to external partners and ensuring that every release meets our rigorous standards for performance, usability, and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary lead for external development teams. You will drive their velocity, ensure they are hitting milestones, and maintain a high standard of output across your assigned products.
• Define the high-level roadmap and requirements. While you will provide critical input and direction for the product journey, you will collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts who are responsible for the hands-on creation of backlog items and user stories.
• Since the teams are external, you are the final line of defense. You will oversee UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure that everything built is scalable for our 100M+ users.
• Work closely with the Head of Growth and Head of Engineering to ensure that external output aligns with internal technology standards and marketing goals.
• Manage the product journey from MVP through to global scale, making data-driven decisions on which features to kill and which to double down on.
• Continuously evaluate the performance and efficiency of the external development teams under your skip, ensuring they remain aligned with our delivery expectations and long-term strategy.

Who You Are

• You have 5+ years of Product Management experience, with a proven track record of managing external or distributed development teams.
• You are comfortable overseeing multiple related features or products, ensuring consistency and strategic alignment across your area of responsibility.
• Because you are managing teams across different cultures and languages, your communication is crystal clear, highly documented, and impossible to misinterpret.
• You have a deep understanding of self-serve SaaS metrics and how product strategy directly influences global growth and user retention.
• You understand APIs, cloud infrastructure, and the limitations of high-scale systems, allowing you to effectively challenge and guide external technical teams.
• You are 'on top of it.' You don't wait for updates; you chase them. You are comfortable holding external partners accountable to high standards and tight deadlines.
