Description
The Program Manager (Senior Contract Specialist) will lead and manage complex Government contracting programs, ensuring successful execution of acquisition strategies, compliance with regulatory standards, and delivery of mission-critical services. This role requires deep expertise in program management, acquisition planning, and contract administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Government contracting programs from initiation through execution and closeout
- Oversee acquisition planning activities and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Provide strategic guidance on contract development, negotiation, and administration
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure program milestones and deliverables are met
- Monitor program performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Serve as a primary liaison between stakeholders and Government representatives
- Ensure adherence to quality, cost, and schedule requirements
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Strong knowledge of Government contracting and acquisition processes
- Expertise in program management and contract lifecycle oversight
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Familiarity with Integrated Contracts Expert (ICE) tools and processes is preferred
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least seven (7) years of experience in program management, contracting, acquisition planning, or a combination of these disciplines
- Current or prior FAC-C (Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting) certification for a minimum of five (5) years, or civilian equivalent
